Job summary

DNOW seeks a skilled welder to perform complex welding, fabricating and repairing space-age metals and components per drawings and prints. You will weld in AC, MIG and TIG, in controlled atmospheres, high vacuum and high pressure systems, and operate related shop tools.

The role requires reading specifications, planning work sequences, and collaboration with teams to ensure safety and quality. A relevant training or diploma plus extensive welding experience is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Four years welding experience or completed accredited training program.
• Knowledge of welding techniques, tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex and precision welding techniques.
• Designs, fabricates, joins and repairs metal components per specifications.
• Welds in controlled atmospheres and high vacuum/high pressure systems.
• Operates welding and related shop equipment; analyzes plans and orders.
