Job summary

Crowder is seeking skilled welders for fabrication and assembly on diverse civil projects. The role requires reliable welding across multiple positions, with strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will work from shop drawings, perform welding to specifications, and participate in continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts. Applicants should have 3–5 years of welding experience, read blueprints, and possess the stamina to perform physically demanding tasks in a fabrication

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related welding experience in structural steel, piping, and plate.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding procedures.
• Extensive knowledge of welding and measurement tools.
• Requires physical stamina and strength; safety PPE adherence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety requirements and PPE procedures.
• Pass welding tests across multiple materials and positions.
• Set up welding equipment per shop orders and supervise or assist as directed.
• Read blueprints, determine weld types, preheat, and post-weld heat treatment.
• Keep work areas clean and maintain weld records and weld quality control.
