Job summary

Stadler Rail AG is seeking a Senior Welder-Fitter to join our aluminum welding and assembly team in Salt Lake City. You will perform MIG and TIG welding to exacting standards, craft subassemblies from technical drawings, and ensure finish quality across car body components.

You’ll work within a diverse international team, emphasizing precision, safety, and continuous process improvement. AWS certification is preferred, with 8+ years in MIG/TIG welding and aluminum experience.

Qualifications

• Vocational training or apprenticeship in welding.
• AWS certification preferred.
• Process-specific certifications in MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in MIG and TIG welding.
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques, preferably on aluminum.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
• Teamwork experience collaborating effectively within a diverse, international group.
