Job summary

CELINA (Celina Tent, Inc.) is seeking an experienced Senior Welder to enhance our fabrication department. In this role, you will operate and optimize robotic welding systems, perform MIG welding, and ensure high-quality fabrication of steel components.

Senior Welder – 1st shift

Celina Tent, Inc (CELINA) is looking for an experienced Senior Welder to help lead our growing in‑house fabrication department. If you take pride in producing high‑quality work, enjoy working with the latest welding technology, and want to play a key role in building industry‑leading engineered structures, we'd love to meet you.

In this role, you will:

• Set up, operate, and optimize collaborative robotic (COBOT) welding systems.
• Perform MIG welding, fabrication, fit‑up, and assembly of structural steel components.
• Read blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols to build products to specification.
• Inspect weld quality, troubleshoot production issues, and recommend process improvements.
• Support tube laser, flat laser, and press brake operations while helping train and mentor other welders.
• Support development of welding procedures and quality standards.

What we're looking for:

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of a welding certificate, vocational training program, career center program, or related technical education
• 10+ years of MIG welding and steel fabrication experience
• Strong GMAW (MIG) welding skills on carbon steel
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Experience with robotic welding, AWS certifications, or fabrication equipment is a plus
