Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Interface/Config Engineer with strong webMethods and SAP integration expertise to support a multi-wave financial data migration across On-Prem, SaaS, and Lab environments.

The role focuses on building and configuring invoicing interfaces, REST/SOAP APIs, and secure messaging patterns while leveraging AI-assisted mapping and automated testing tools to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience with webMethods Integration Server, Designer, and API Gateway.
Deep familiarity with SAP integration mechanisms: RFC/BAPI and IDoc/ALE for FI/CO/SD.
Experience building and securing REST and SOAP APIs, XML/JSON payloads, and enterprise messaging flows.
Knowledge of e-invoicing standards and regulatory transmission formats.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and configure enterprise integration flows on webMethods for finance, billing, and invoicing.
Configure SAP RFC/BAPI and IDoc/ALE interfaces with e-invoicing partners and tax stacks.
Use AI-assisted mapping and automated tests to validate transformations against specs.
Develop and maintain REST and SOAP APIs, XML/JSON transformations, and secure messaging for financial transactions.
Collaborate with consultants, test coordinators, and business owners to triage SIT/UAT defects.
Participate in migration rehearsals, validate interface re-pointing, and support hypercare stabilization.
