Job summary

Amber is looking for a senior game economy designer to influence multiple games in our portfolio, spanning genres and platforms. You’ll design meta-game systems, monetization mechanics, content balancing, and more, turning ideas into playable experiences.

Join a collaborative team to mentor juniors, leverage metrics and KPIs, and use economy modelling tools (Excel and similar) to refine your work. Excellent written and spoken English are required to communicate across our distributed team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in game economy design or equivalent background.
• Strong knowledge of free-to-play economics and monetization fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of KPIs and game metrics.
• Experience mentoring junior teammates.
• Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency with economy design tools, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Play a senior economy design role on multiple world-class projects.
• Design meta-game systems and monetization mechanics.
• Balance content using modeling, testing, and metrics.
• Collaborate with designers, artists and programmers to implement ideas.
• Mentor and provide feedback to junior team members.
• Pitch new features and projects using knowledge of game economy.
