Job summary

Amber is looking for a senior game economy designer to influence multiple games in our portfolio, spanning genres and platforms. You’ll design meta-game systems, monetization mechanics, content balancing, and more, turning ideas into playable experiences.

Join a collaborative team to mentor juniors, leverage metrics and KPIs, and use economy modelling tools (Excel and similar) to refine your work. Excellent written and spoken English are required to communicate across our distributed team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in game economy design or equivalent background.
• Strong knowledge of free-to-play economics and monetization fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of KPIs and game metrics.
• Experience mentoring junior teammates.
• Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency with economy design tools, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Play a senior economy design role on multiple world-class projects.

The Skills:

• 7+ years of experience as a game economy designer, or equivalent background
• Expert knowledge of free-to-play economy and monetization fundamentals
• Advanced understanding of game metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Proven experience mentoring junior team members
• Proficient English with outstanding verbal, written, and visual communication skills
• Extensive experience using common economy design tools, like Excel
• Collaborative spirit and love of teamwork
