Job summary

The Bitcoin Street Journal is seeking a senior backend engineer focused on Web3 and blockchain infrastructure. You will design and build reusable platform services for tokenization, transaction processing, and wallet integration, while enabling cross-network support including Besu, Ethereum/EVM, and Layer 2 networks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering building distributed systems or blockchain infra.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Web3 platform services for tokenization, processing, and wallet integration.
• Develop backend services interacting with blockchain nodes, wallets, and custody platforms.
• Create blockchain abstraction layers supporting multiple networks (Besu, Ethereum/EVM, Layer 2, permissioned chains).
• Build integrations with Hyperledger Besu, Ethereum-compatible networks, and permissioned EVM chains.
• Establish engineering standards for smart-contract development, testing, and deployment.
• Support security practices including threat modeling, static analysis, and secure pipelines.
