Job summary

The Judicial Council of California is seeking a Senior Analyst in the Public Affairs office to bridge web strategy with IT execution for courts.ca.gov, ensuring a user-friendly, accessible site. You will work with content owners, designers, and developers to implement current, relevant content that meets audience needs.

Hybrid work in San Francisco with required in-office presence and California residency, plus strong analytics, content strategy, and Drupal CMS experience to drive digital

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and four (4) years of analytical experience in program analysis, development, implementation, research, and/or evaluation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field may substitute for one year of required experience; additional related experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
  • Master’s degree in a related field that included qualitative and quantitative research and one year of analytical experience may substitute.
  • One year in the Analyst classification with the Judicial Council of California or an equivalent California government entity.

Responsibilities

  • Implement a comprehensive web strategy and messaging roadmaps aligned with agency objectives and technical capabilities.
  • Advise senior management on web content management best practices and governance models.
  • Provide web communications content subject matter expertise to leadership and office staff.
  • Recommend content strategies to improve user engagement on priority sections of the website.
  • Lead the sitewide implementation of approved content/design styles and standards.
  • Review analytics (GA4) and site performance; report findings to Public Affairs leadership.
  • Collaborate with content owners to implement strategies, design enhancements, and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Coordinate Content User Group interactions to share standards and best practices.
  • Review ADA/ WCAG accessibility and ensure compliance across site sections.
  • Review content for adherence to approved messaging and web standards.
  • Attend meetings and events related to the judicial branch as required.
