Job summary

Rivian is seeking an experienced design leader to join our Digital Studio as a Senior Manager, Web Product Design. Lead a team of 4–6 designers, shaping the user experience for Rivian.com and the Gear Shop, from brand discovery through multi‑step purchases.

You will drive strategy for storytelling, ecommerce flows, and analytics, aligning design with business goals. This is a hybrid role in Irvine with a competitive compensation package and benefits.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in digital product design for complex web platforms.
• 3+ years directly managing and leading product design teams.
• Deep expertise in e-commerce, checkout flows, and direct‑to‑consumer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and manage a team of 4–6 web product designers.
• Define user problems, opportunities, and priorities for Rivian’s web platform.
• Drive feature roadmaps, planning, and resource allocation with cross‑functional partners.
• Collaborate across design teams to ensure ecosystem consistency.
• Oversee multiple workstreams from initiation to release with high quality execution.
• Champion user research and A/B testing to inform design decisions.
