Job summary

Potpourri Group Inc. seeks a highly technical Senior Web Development Manager to lead the engineering of its high-volume eCommerce platform. You will act as both a lead full-stack developer and a development team manager, owning an enterprise Microsoft-based stack and guiding modernization from .NET 5 onward.

You will manage a cross-functional team, align technical work with business strategy, and partner with executives to deliver scalable, secure solutions for millions of transactions daily.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on full-stack web development.
• Experience managing or leading technical project teams within a RAD environment.
• Extensive experience building, scaling, and maintaining large-scale eCommerce platforms.
• Expert-level mastery of SQL Server (T-SQL) including design, procedures, and performance tuning.
• Deep proficiency in C# and VB.NET with enterprise server-side applications.
• Experience with the Microsoft .NET ecosystem and legacy frameworks like .NET 5.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, state management, and caching.
• Proven ability to integrate external systems via APIs and web services.
• Excellent documentation, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects, define deliverables, milestones, and timelines.
• Direct design meetings, stand-ups, and status reviews with executives.
• Mentor team members and unblock complex algorithmic challenges.
• Oversee upgrades, releases, and change control across environments.
• Ensure security, PCI compliance, and data protection requirements.
