Job summary

Studio McGee seeks a Senior Manager, Web Operations to lead operational execution, marketing technology oversight, and cross-functional coordination for our Shopify Plus ecommerce platform. You will ensure stability, scalability, and structured execution of web initiatives while aligning marketing, design, technology, analytics, and operations.

This role requires strong collaboration, documented processes, and the ability to communicate clearly across teams in a fast-growing ecommerce

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in ecommerce product management or web operations.
• Hands-on Shopify Plus experience and platform understanding.
• Strong experience leading Agile workflows, sprint planning and retros.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage cross-functional delivery and lifecycle from discovery to launch.

Responsibilities

• Own intake, scoping, and prioritization for all web initiatives.
• Translate requirements into structured tickets and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog aligned to business impact.
• Lead sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
• Remove blockers and manage cross-functional dependencies.
• Ensure on-time delivery across theme and application development.
• Partner with marketing, merchandising, and operations to clarify requirements.
• Oversee ecommerce marketing tech stack, analytics, and integrations.
• Triage site issues and drive stability across CMS, apps, and data flows.
• Collaborate with design to scope and launch new site experiences.
• Drive strategic agility with new tools and tech while protecting brand integrity.
• Develop SOPs for releases, QA, deployments, and incident response.
