Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree with five or more years of experience developing comprehensive, usable webpages.
• Proficiency with WordPress and the ability to work with WordPress themes and plugins.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of and experience with web accessibility standards.
• Experience with Google Analytics.
• Experience with search engine optimization best practices and tools.
• Experience with project management tools to track and document project status and progress.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communicator and problem-solver across technical and non-technical teams.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Act as the primary WordPress web developer for the McCombs School of Business. Develop, maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot McCombs websites.
• Oversee the day-to-day maintenance, administration, and security of McCombs websites.
• Develop custom themes, content modules, and integrations for McCombs websites.
• Keep up with the latest in DevOps. Contribute to new practices and procedures for code release cycles, testing, and help develop more efficient team workflows and infrastructure.
• Align with UT Austin and McCombs Technology Solutions on site governance and security.
• Monitor, repair, and maintain McCombs websites to ensure accessibility and QA standards.
• Ensure sites are compatible with modern browsers, devices, and operating systems.
• Ensure compliance with policies on website usage, security standards, and brand guidelines.
• QA sites in an iterative process, during staging and after deployment.
• Set up and maintain analytics tools, create reports and dashboards, and optimize for SEO and AI search.
