Job summary

The University System of New Hampshire is seeking a Web Developer to join a team responsible for public-facing websites across UNH institutions. You will build database-driven sites, extend Drupal, and apply PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and SQL with a focus on user experience and accessibility.

You will provide technical leadership, ensure secure, auditable code, and collaborate to integrate AI capabilities and improve SEO, testing, documentation and deployment across development/test/production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus significant IT experience; or Master’s plus experience; total of 10 years equivalence.
• Experience building database-driven web apps with HTML5, CSS, JS, React, PHP, Drupal or WordPress.
• Knowledge of SQL-based databases and version control systems (Git or SVN).

Responsibilities

• Develop websites and software applications meeting client needs within university web guides and policies.
• Build standards-compliant sites using Drupal/WordPress and technologies like PHP, HTML, React, CSS.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate AI capabilities and improve code quality through testing and debugging.
