RALLY in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Senior Designer to craft compelling websites and digital experiences for organizations tackling social and political issues. This hybrid role combines end-to-end web design with a team culture that values UX fundamentals, accessibility, and design systems.

You’ll help translate client brands, strategies, and content into clear, engaging experiences, while building reusable Figma libraries and supporting smooth developer handoff.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of professional design experience in web/digital UI or interactive design.
• Advanced Figma proficiency including Auto Layout, components, and design systems.
• Strong responsive design knowledge with HTML/CSS concepts (no production coding required).
• Solid UX fundamentals: architecture, sitemaps, navigation, user flows, hierarchy.
• Working knowledge of WCAG accessibility and foundational SEO.
• Openness to using AI tools to improve efficiency and quality.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Organized, time-managed with budgets and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Design accessible, visually compelling websites with strong typography and layout.
• Translate brands and content into engaging experiences from concept to high fidelity.
• Build scalable Figma files with components, styles, and design systems.
• Create prototypes to communicate functionality, interactions, and web animations.
• Prepare developer handoffs and QA across devices to preserve design intent.
• Contribute to site architecture and UX with sitemaps, navigation, and information hierarchy.
• Design responsive layouts with understanding of HTML/CSS concepts.
• Apply WCAG best practices across content hierarchy and forms.
• Incorporate SEO considerations into design strategy.
• Collaborate with strategists, designers, developers, and project managers.
