The Milken Institute is seeking a highly organized Senior Associate, Web Content to join the Digital team within Marketing and Communications. This hands-on role manages day-to-day production for MilkenInstitute.org and microsites, building pages, publishing content, and QA before release.

The ideal candidate can grow with us, collaborating across teams to improve UX, accessibility, SEO, analytics, and digital strategy while taking on increasingly complex projects over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, digital media, technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in web production, digital publishing, website management, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS and basic image-editing skills, including cropping and resizing assets.
• Content writing and editing for web copy, with SEO/GEO focus.
• Familiarity with web analytics and AI-assisted tools.

Responsibilities

• Web Production and Publishing: Build, edit, publish, schedule, feature, and maintain content across MilkenInstitute.org and microsites using Drupal, per editorial priorities.
• Troubleshoot CMS issues; collaborate with Director and partners on complex issues.
• Manage requests in Jira; set timelines and communicate blockers to stakeholders.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues; keep stakeholders informed about status and timing.
• Quality Assurance: conduct editorial, visual, functional, responsive, and link QA before and after publication.
• Project Support: help plan and deliver web projects of varying size with the Director and stakeholders.
• Apply usability, IA, accessibility, SEO/GEO, and digital content best practices to daily decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, documentation, and publishing efficiency.
• Duties as assigned.
