Job summary

Zoox is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to build web applications that power our autonomous ride-sharing service. You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and remote operators, developing tools for our growing fleet of autonomous robotaxis.

Qualifications

• Solid foundations in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Solid understanding of web technologies.
• 10+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly scalable and reliable web applications.
• Provide architectural leadership across frontend, backend, and AI investments.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to build new features.
• Mentor junior engineers, performing code reviews.
