Cloud Developer
Our Client is seeking a Cloud Developer to design, develop, migrate, and support cloud applications and infrastructure within a federal technology environment. This role will focus on cloud service delivery models, application migration, automation, DevSecOps practices, and secure cloud environments. Candidates must have an active Top Secret clearance, a bachelor's degree, and at least 5 years of relevant experience. AWS cloud platform experience is preferred.
Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks supporting Platform as a Service, Infrastructure as a Service, Software as a Service, and Data as a Service.
- Develop and implement cloud based applications and services.
- Automate cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices.
- Analyze existing applications and determine their suitability for cloud migration or deployment.
- Develop strategies for migrating on premises applications and services into cloud environments.
- Provide recommendations related to cloud platforms, cloud agnostic solutions, and on premises services.
- Evaluate cloud solutions for failure and recovery, cost optimization, availability, and operational benefits.
- Migrate existing on premises applications to cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot and debug cloud application stacks.
- Establish and maintain secure cloud environments.
- Manage policies governing cloud services and requests for new technologies.
- Design cloud solutions with appropriate availability and uptime requirements.
- Independently design and develop new software products and major enhancements to existing cloud software.
Qualifications And Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 5 or more years of relevant cloud development, software development, or cloud engineering experience.
- Active Top Secret security clearance required.
- Experience developing and supporting cloud based applications and services.
- Experience with Platform as a Service, Infrastructure as a Service, Software as a Service, or Data as a Service environments.
- Experience implementing cloud automation using DevSecOps practices.
- Experience evaluating and migrating on premises applications to cloud environments.
- Experience troubleshooting cloud application stacks.
- Knowledge of cloud security, availability, failure recovery, and cost optimization.
- Ability to independently design and develop cloud software solutions.
- AWS cloud platform experience preferred.
