Job summary

Fusion Technology is seeking a Senior Cloud Developer in Chantilly, VA to design and deliver cloud service models for PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS. You will implement automation with DevSecOps, secure hybrid cloud infrastructure, and collaborate with teams to enable high-bandwidth government cloud services.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in CS/Software Eng or equivalent with 8 years of software development and 3 years in cloud tech. TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field with 8 years of software development experience, 3 years in cloud technologies
• Experience with AWS GovCloud/SC2S/C2S cloud platforms and cloud security implementation
• Experience with Terraform and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in Python or .NET C# and DevSecOps practices
• Knowledge of microservices, API Gateway, elastic search and logging platforms
• Familiarity with SAFe Agile methodologies and cost optimization for cloud resources
• Experience in hybrid cloud and on-premises integration

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, DaaS)
• Implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices
• Analyze applications and migrate to cloud environments
• Provide strategies for failure/recovery and cost optimization
• Develop and migrate on-prem apps to cloud
• Debug cloud stacks and manage cloud service policies
• Ensure secure cloud environments with high availability
• Collaborate across infra and dev teams for seamless integration
• Participate in PI/ART activities for program alignment
• Support multi-enclave environments (Unclassified, Secret, Top Secret)

Education and Experience

What You\'ll Be Doing

As a Senior Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for developing cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks. You will implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices and support a robust, hybrid cloud infrastructure that provides the necessary backbone for delivering high-bandwidth services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks to enable PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS
• Implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices
• Analyze applications and make recommendations for migration to cloud environments
• Provide strategies for failure/recovery and cost optimization of cloud services
• Develop and implement cloud applications and migrate existing on-premises applications to the cloud
• Debug cloud stacks and manage policies for the use of cloud services
• Establish secure cloud environments and ensure appropriate availability/uptime design
• Work independently designing and developing new software products for cloud environments
• Enhance existing cloud software for performance and scalability
• Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
• Support the multi-enclave environment (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret)
• Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to ensure seamless integration
