This fully onsite role is based in Huntsville, AL, supporting national security programs that demand strict security and compliance. The ideal candidate has deep AWS expertise, Terraform infrastructure as code, Linux system administration, and strong Agile/Scrum practices.

Qualifications

• US Citizens with active TOP SECRET clearance.
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience.
• Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer role in a classified AWS environment.
• Role requires on-site work in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure using AWS services and Terraform (IaC).
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline).
• Administer and optimize Linux-based systems for high availability, security, and compliance.
• Develop automation scripts in Bash, Python, or PowerShell for provisioning and monitoring.
• Configure networking, VPCs, IAM roles, security groups, and encryption in AWS.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevSecOps practices for faster release cycles.
• Monitor production systems with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to support rapid delivery.
• Support accreditation under DoD/IC security frameworks (NIST, RMF, FedRAMP).
• Mentor junior engineers and improve DevOps workflows.

The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in AWS cloud services, Terraform infrastructure as code, Linux system administration, and Agile/Scrum practices, with a proven track record in building scalable, secure, and automated DevSecOps pipelines.

• Design, automate, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure using AWS services and Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Administer and optimize Linux-based systems, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance.
