Job summary

Horizon3 is seeking a Senior/Staff Offensive Security Software Engineer to lead full-scope web application pentesting and develop AI-enhanced security capabilities within the NodeZero platform. You will perform practical tests on real applications, reproduce edge cases, and guide product improvements with clear test cases and documentation.

The role requires hands-on testing, software development skills, and a passion for advancing offensive security through AI technologies, while mentoring

Qualifications

Extensive full-scope web app pentesting experience.
Experience with Burp and browser dev tools.
Proficiency in OO programming and TDD.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools for security research.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on web app pentests against real customer apps and lab targets.
Review NodeZero results to identify coverage gaps and edge cases.
Reproduce edge cases and build proof-of-concept exploits.
Collaborate with engineers to translate findings into product improvements.
Maintain regression/benchmark test libraries.
Triages security findings and manages Jira tickets.
