Horizon3.ai is a remote cybersecurity company accelerating production-safe autonomous pentests across large corporate environments. We seek a Senior Attack Engineer to lead complex internal network and Active Directory attack projects within NodeZero, translating cutting-edge research into scalable product capabilities.

You will own attack capabilities from research to production delivery, mentor teammates, and collaborate with engineers and product teams to enhance features and documentation.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on offensive security experience against internal enterprise networks and Active Directory.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python for large-scale development and production-quality code.
• Strong command of internal network attack techniques, including network protocol exploitation, privilege escalation, lateral movement, and credential access.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop novel attack capabilities for integration into the NodeZero platform, focusing on autonomous red teaming and offensive security automation.
• Design, build, and maintain production-grade Python systems, balancing attack effectiveness with safety, reliability, and scalability.
• Mentor teammates, perform code reviews, and improve engineering and research practices.
• Partner cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and customer-facing teams to resolve issues and drive customer value.
• Help shape team priorities using threat intelligence and customer needs.
