Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior technology leader to guide a software development team in delivering features with a strong emphasis on quality, SDLC compliance, and scalable architecture. The role requires hands-on leadership and the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives in a fast-paced environment.

The team will focus on full-stack Java/Python development, microservices, and data storage across SQL and NoSQL databases, with GenAI-driven improvements for production reliability

Qualifications

• 7 Years of Full Stack Java/Python Development.
• Hands on software development on Agile setting with an industry standard DevOps practices.
• 5-7 Years applying SDLC standards for design, coding and quality.
• 5-7 Years of IT experience in analyzing and developing applications using JAVA/J2EE technologies.
• Extensive experience in Core Java, J2EE, Angular, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Micro Services, RDBMS, SQL, NoSQL (Mango DB).
• Proficient with writing complex and tuned SQL queries.
• Good knowledge of various Java/J2EE Architecture Frameworks and their implementation.
• Automation skills.
• LLM experience.
• AI experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, technical direction and oversight to a technology team.
• Design, develop and be accountable for feature delivery.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs.
• Align technical solutions to business objectives.
• Ensure coding practices and quality comply with software development standards.
• Conduct multiple software implementations.
• Ensure solutions meet product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt.
• Guide the team on work breakdown and execution.
• Work with the Product Owner and scrum master to maintain healthy product backlogs and clear acceptance criteria.
• Serve as a team lead as an individual contributor and mentor the team.
• Guide team members on planning and estimation, peer reviews, and engineering practices.
• Support GenAI automation and improvement of production support and reliability engineering processes.
