Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior software leader to drive AI-enabled enterprise solutions and a strategic technical roadmap. You will mentor teams, design observable AI workflows, and deliver resilient microservices across front-end, API, and back-end layers in a SaaS environment.

Required are hands-on expertise with Java, C#, Python, and cloud services, plus experience deploying AI/LLM in production and leading cross-functional technical initiatives in a US-based setting.

Qualifications

• Experience designing AI/LLM experiments and production evaluation.
• Shipped LLM or automation solutions in production.
• Strong knowledge of agents, retrieval-augmented generation, and ML.
• Experience integrating AI via APIs, events, authentication, and observability.
• Familiarity with microservices and SaaS architectures.
• Proven full-stack development with SaaS focus.
• Expertise with GraphQL, gRPC, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; U.S. work authorized.
• Must be able to work in the United States; GEICO will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization.

Responsibilities

• Innovate and build new systems and enhance existing systems.
• Lead the strategy and execution of a technical roadmap.
• Shape the incorporation of applied AI and intelligent automation into enterprise solutions.
• Provide technical and thought leadership across multiple areas and the enterprise.
• Collaborate with product, domain experts, and analytics partners to translate business needs into technical designs.
• Deliver high-quality software and services, including AI-augmented workflows and intelligent services.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for AI, intelligent automation, and agentic workflows.
• Develop solutions using Java, C#, object-oriented languages, SQL, NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
• Work on end-to-end solutions spanning front-end implementations, API tiers, and back-end domain services.
• Mentor and coach engineering and product communities and educate executives.
• Design observable AI workflows using orchestration and agent patterns.
• Select and rationalize AI technologies based on cost, latency, accuracy, security, and operability.
• Establish production engineering patterns for evaluation, monitoring, governance, testing, quality metrics, safety, fallback behavior, and incident response.
