Job summary

MTSI is seeking a Senior Weapon Systems Integration Engineer to support an advanced air platform program at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. You will provide senior-level technical expertise in development, integration, and testing of air vehicles and weapon systems across airframe structures, control surfaces, propulsion, stores, mission systems, and embedded software.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in an engineering discipline or relevant field.
• 12+ years of DoD program experience.
• Experience in SAP or SCI environments with recent work.
• Strong written and oral communication, and concise technical translation.
• Ability to independently perform mission-critical duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level expertise in development, integration, and testing of air platforms and weapon systems.
• Coordinate with developers, test personnel, and safety boards for system testing.
• Review technical packages, test plans, and verify requirements.
• Support end-to-end system engineering across airframe, propulsion, stores, and embedded software.
• Evaluate designs and perform tradespace analysis for cost, schedule, and performance.
