Job summary

The Rundown AI, Inc. is looking for a Weapons Systems Engineer to oversee the integration and operational deployment of advanced weapon capabilities on X-Bat. This position is crucial for mission readiness and combat effectiveness.

Key responsibilities include defining weapon system behaviors, leading integration efforts, and supporting flight test activities. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in military aerospace, mission systems, avionics, or weapon systems integration.
• Experience defining system behavior, operational concepts, or functional architectures for complex aerospace systems.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-1760, MIL-STD-1553, and hardware/software integration environments.

Responsibilities

• Define weapon system behaviors and mission workflows.
• Develop system architectures, activity diagrams, and interface definitions.
• Lead integration of weapon systems and avionics interfaces.
• Support test activities to validate system behavior and reliability.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
