Job summary

Farm Bureau Financial Services seeks a strategic Wealth Management Consultant to serve as a trusted resource for advisors, guiding portfolio construction and investment solutions. You will evaluate products, develop training, and collaborate across Wealth Management, Sales, Marketing, and Compliance to drive advisor success.

Qualified candidates will have a strong finance background, the ability to translate complex concepts into practical guidance, and a willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and seven years of wealth management experience.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 65/66 licenses required.
• Current Life & Health Insurance License required.
• Advanced designation such as CFP®, CFA®, ChFC®, or CLU® preferred.
• Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio construction, advisory platforms, and financial planning strategies.
• Passion for coaching, educating, and helping advisors succeed.
• Skilled communicator who can simplify complex topics and connect with audiences.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to wealth management resource for advisors and help grow their business.
• Guide advisors on portfolio strategies, asset allocation, and investment solutions.
• Research and evaluate investment products, mutual funds, and money managers.
• Translate complex market concepts into practical guidance for advisors.
• Create and deliver engaging training programs for advisors.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Compliance teams.
• Build relationships with leading investment providers and external partners.
• Stay ahead of market trends and provide insights to advisors and field leaders.
• Support sales strategies, educational resources, and advisor tools.
• Contribute to growth and evolution of Farm Bureau Wealth Management.
