Job summary

The Anderson Search Group seeks a Portfolio Manager in Houston, TX (or Mobile, AL) to join its regional Wealth Management division. You will manage customized portfolios for affluent clients and partner with Wealth Advisors, Private Bankers, and Trust officers to deliver sophisticated investment solutions and superior client service.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of portfolio management or related investment experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
• Experience managing portfolios for affluent or high-net-worth clients.
• Strong knowledge of asset allocation, capital markets, and fiduciary investing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to collaborate with Wealth Advisors and other professionals; CFA/CMT/MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage customized portfolios for affluent/high-net-worth and institutional relationships.
• Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with client objectives and risk tolerance.
• Meet regularly with clients to discuss market conditions and portfolio performance.
• Collaborate with Wealth Advisors, Private Bankers, Trust Officers, and Financial Planners.
• Contribute to investment research, portfolio strategy, and investment committee discussions.
• Ensure fiduciary standards, regulatory compliance, and prudent investing.
