Job summary

The Anderson Search Group has been engaged by a respected regional financial institution to appoint a Director of Wealth Advisory in Houston, Texas. This executive will lead sales strategy, advisor development, and market expansion while guiding a high-performing team of Wealth Advisors to deliver exceptional client outcomes.

The ideal leader will build an integrated wealth platform, partner across Commercial Banking, Private Banking, Trust and Investment Management, and drive profitable growth

Qualifications

• Experience leading Wealth Advisors or regional Wealth Management teams.
• Proven track record recruiting and developing top-performing advisors.
• Experience driving advisor productivity and revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of Investment Management and Trust & Fiduciary Services.
• Experience partnering across Commercial Banking, Private Banking, Trust and Retail Banking to deliver integrated client solutions.
• MBA, JD, or other advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Wealth Advisors to maximize productivity, engagement, client service, and business results.
• Develop and execute a scalable growth strategy to increase Wealth Management assets under management (AUM), advisory revenue, and overall profitability.
• Establish market growth strategies focused on acquiring new clients, expanding existing client relationships, and increasing wallet share.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top-performing Wealth Advisors while building a strong succession pipeline.
• Coach advisors on comprehensive financial planning, business development, held-away asset identification, and relationship expansion.
• Develop and execute sales strategies that promote consistent referral generation, COI development, and advisor productivity.
• Build strong partnerships across: Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, Trust & Fiduciary Services, Investment Management.
• Partner with Wealth leadership to continuously improve the client experience, business development processes, and advisor delivery model.
