Job summary

BNY Mellon Wealth Management seeks a Senior Specialist, IWM Portfolio Analyst in New York, NY to support portfolio managers with analytics and reporting.

You will assist in evaluating domestic and international portfolios, analyze strategy impacts, prepare trades, and monitor regulatory notices. Strong teamwork with PMs and cross-functional groups is essential, with 3-5 years of financial experience and a CFA/MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; MBA and/or CFA preferred.
• 3-5 years of prior financial or investment experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct detailed portfolio analysis and prepare impactful reports.
• Experience working collaboratively with portfolio managers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist Portfolio Managers in managing complex aspects of domestic and international portfolios, including researching potential business profitability.
• Calculate the impact of strategy changes on portfolios and analyze transaction suitability.
• Prepare trades and monitor clearing compliance notifications to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Provide investment reporting and analytics for assigned investment teams, supporting marketing and client service teams with data requests.
• Interpret performance attribution and track error reports to generate detailed portfolio analytics for business decision-making.
