Join us as a Sr. Wealth Planner

Brown Brothers Harriman is recruiting a Sr. Wealth Planner for our Private Banking team in Philadelphia. You will collaborate with an existing Senior Wealth Planner and work with Relationship Management and Banking teams to provide trust, estate, philanthropic, and tax guidance to our private banking clients. You will also engage with the local trusts, estates, and tax community to stay informed and build connections.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Philadelphia RM team by reviewing estate planning documents, preparing client presentation materials, and analyzing estate, tax, trust, and philanthropic issues.
• Advising private banking clients on estate planning, analysis, and guidance, including related investment and asset allocation issues.
• Serving as a resource on trust administration and estate planning to ensure high client satisfaction.

Business Development

• Contributing to growth through referrals and asset gathering from existing clients.
• Developing relationships with prospective clients through advice and guidance.
• Authoring articles and speaking at external events.
• Building a network in high-net-worth communities via associations, community organizations, charity boards, and events.
• Collaborating on marketing and event planning with colleagues across Private Banking.

Qualifications

• JD required; LLM or CPA a plus.
• Minimum 7 years of trusts and estates law experience with high-net-worth clients (>$20 million).
• Strong estate planning knowledge and experience with tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and eMoney.
• Ability to multitask and solve problems independently.
• Excellent networking skills.
