Job summary

SAFE Credit Union in California seeks an experienced leader to coach and train SFS Wealth Advisors, Financial Advisors, and staff to achieve growth through exceptional service and referral-based sales.

The role supports branch leaders and emphasizes wealth management awareness, regulatory compliance, and effective use of program technology. Strong leadership and relationship-building are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or five or more years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Securities License Series 7/24/66 or 63 and 65.
• California Life Insurance & Variable Annuity License.
• Previous credit union or community banking sales management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Train and coach SFS Wealth & Financial Advisors in selling, financial planning, time management, and portfolio management.
• Lead activities and provide educational materials, market information, and sales tips to build relationships and generate referrals.
• Organize in-branch promotions, seminars, and prospecting programs; attend manager meetings and branch events.
• Onboard and train new SFS Wealth & Financial Advisors on product features and paperwork.
• Assist Advisors with sales and financial planning presentations to ensure goal achievement.
• Create action plans and coaching to underperforming Advisors to elevate performance.
