Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
PrairieView Wealth & Tax Advisors in Chicago seeks a Senior Wealth Advisor to own client relationships, deliver comprehensive planning, and be the first advisor in this office. You will set the tone and drive growth with the tax and investment teams, building trusted, long-term client partnerships.
You will grow a book, mentor junior advisors, and lead a structured client handoff from tax to wealth planning, shaping the office culture and strategy for ongoing success.
PrairieView Wealth & Tax Advisors is a registered investment advisor with a tax practice built into the same firm. Clients get planning, investment management, and tax work from one team rather than three, which is a large part of why they stay. We custody at Charles Schwab and serve individuals, families, and business owners.
We are hiring one Senior Wealth Advisor for our Chicago office. You would own client relationships, deliver the planning, and be the first wealth advisor based in this office.
Here is what makes the seat unusual. Our tax practice already works with households and business owners who need real wealth planning and are not getting it anywhere else. They know us, they trust us, and the conversation is already warm. Your job is to meet them, do excellent planning work, and grow from there, alongside the relationships you build yourself.
This office does not have a wealth advisor yet. You would be it. That means more ownership than a comparable seat somewhere else, and it means the tone of the office is largely yours to set. If you want a place where you can build something and be recognized for it, that is what this is.
This is a full time in-office role.
Leadership. Play to Win. Integrity. Compassionate. Innovative.
These are the five things we hire and promote on, and you will be asked about them directly.
We build advisors into teams rather than into silos. A meaningful part of your compensation and nearly all of your long-term growth is tied to how the team around you performs, not just to what you personally produce. As the office grows and Associate and Junior advisors come in behind you, your success is measured by what the team delivers together and by how well you develop the people in it.
That is the path toward a Lead Advisor seat, and it is a real one.
A phone screen with our search partner, then a conversation with our Chief Operating Officer, then a conversation with a senior advisor on the team so you can hear how the work actually runs here, then a conversation with our CEO along with a Culture Index assessment.
It is a thorough process on purpose. We are hiring someone we expect to be here for a long time.
