Job description

Role Summary

On behalf of our client - a coordinated wealth and tax planning firm based in Scottsdale, AZ, serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families, entrepreneurs, real estate investors, and high-income professionals - we are seeking a Wealth Advisor to work directly alongside the Founder in a hands-on, mentorship-style structure rather than a large team hierarchy. The firm solves the "silo tax" that comes from disconnected investment, tax, estate, and business planning by delivering a single, integrated financial plan that evolves as life, markets, and tax law change. This is a client-facing role from day one, with increasing advisory responsibility as experience and licensing develop.

Core Responsibilities
  • Support client discovery meetings and organize financial, tax, and estate planning information
  • Help design integrated strategies and prepare plan summaries, presentations, and follow-up materials
  • Coordinate with CPAs, estate attorneys, and other outside professionals on the Founder's behalf
  • Prepare for and attend client meetings, documenting discussions and action items
  • Maintain accurate client records in the firm's CRM and planning systems
  • Use AI tools to draft and refine client-facing communication, fact-checking and personalizing every output
Must-Haves
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
  • A few years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or a related field - able to step in and contribute early rather than require an extended ramp-up
  • Fully licensed at time of hire, holding at least Series 65/66 and/or Series 7
  • Strong analytical skills; proficiency with Excel, CRM, and financial planning/tax software
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-service orientation
  • Collaborative, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable with sensitive client information
Nice-to-Haves
  • Progress toward CFP®, CPA, EA, or similar designation
  • EA credential or tax experience
  • Alternative investment experience (PE, real estate syndications, structured products)
Compensation and Benefits
  • $80,000 - $85,000 base salary, commensurate with experience
  • $20,000+ performance bonus, uncapped upside based on performance
  • PTO + sick time; medical, dental, and vision insurance
Work Environment and Culture

Full-time, on-site in Scottsdale. Genuinely coordinated internally and in how clients are served, not siloed. AI-forward by design - AI tools are used across planning, client communication, and daily workflow, not just admin tasks. Abundance culture with no eat-what-you-kill dynamics - wins are shared and ideas welcomed regardless of tenure. White-glove, hospitality-level service standard paired with a modern, integrated planning model. Real growth path with a path to greater ownership and revenue-generating impact as experience and licensing develop.
