Crawford & Company in the United States is seeking a Senior Claims Examiner - Workers' Compensation (California) to own complex claims with a high degree of autonomy and deliver high-quality resolutions.

You will investigate and resolve advanced California WC claims, analyze compensability and liability, manage reserves, negotiate settlements, and collaborate with defense counsel while mentoring new hires and contributing to team development.

Qualifications

• SIP Certification is required.
• Proven experience handling California Workers Compensation claims.
• Strong background in managing advanced, large-loss, and complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve advanced, large-loss, and complex Workers Compensation claims with a high degree of autonomy.
• Analyze compensability, determine liability, manage reserves, and negotiate claim settlements.
• Partner with defense counsel on litigated matters and support team development through training and mentoring new hires.
