Crawford & Company in California seeks a Senior Claims Examiner - Workers' Compensation to oversee advanced, large-loss and complex cases with a high degree of autonomy. You will assess compensability, determine liability, manage reserves, and negotiate settlements.

You will collaborate with defense counsel on litigated matters and play a key role in team development by mentoring new hires and delivering training across the California WC practice.

Qualifications

• SIP Certification is required.
• Proven experience handling California Workers' Compensation claims.
• Strong background in managing advanced, large-loss, and complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve advanced, large-loss, and complex workers compensation claims with a high degree of autonomy.
• Analyze compensability, determine liability, manage reserves, and negotiate claim settlements.
• Partner with defense counsel on litigated matters and support team development by conducting training and mentoring new hires.
