Job summary

JHL Constructors is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee water/wastewater project delivery from award to completion. You will lead on-site staff and subcontractors, coordinate schedules, and ensure safety, quality, and budget adherence.

The role requires a Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering or Construction Management background with 5+ years of related experience, including piping, tanks, and utility installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering, Construction Management
• 5+ years of related water/waste water experience
• Experience in installing process mechanical piping and equipment with controlled hours, productivity, quality and safety
• Experience in water/wastewater storage, treatment, pumping, and utilities construction
• OSHA-10/30 safety certification; confined space/trenching competence preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide overall supervision to the jobsite, subcontractors, and field staff for high-quality, timely delivery
• Manage water/wastewater project scheduling, coordination, and constructability
• Coordinate subcontractors in schedule development and on-site coordination meetings
• Lead safety programs, QA/QC, and jobsite documentation (daily reports, look-aheads)
• Maintain accurate as-built contract documents and field records
• Oversee manpower and equipment planning with budget considerations
• Communicate with PMs/Directors on critical decisions and contracted work
• Ensure professional jobsite setup, security, signage, and staging
