Job summary

Horner & Shifrin, Inc. is seeking a full-time Project Manager for our Rogers, AR office. The role requires 7+ years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

You will lead project teams, manage budgets and schedules, and develop municipal water and wastewater projects. A PE license and strong client development skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer required.
• Experience in water, sewer and wastewater design.
• Ability to lead, manage and schedule staff to meet project needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of design software packages (HEC-RAS, XP-SWMM, EPA-SWMM, SewerGems, InfoWater, WaterGems, BioWin, etc.).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and initiate business development opportunities.
• Perform and check environmental engineering calculations.
• Develop a client base of municipal water/wastewater utilities in Northwest Arkansas.
• Network with clients to position for and develop work opportunities.
• Prepare contract proposals and cost estimates.
