Your Opportunity

We seek a highly motivated Civil or Environmental Engineering Project Manager with experience in water and wastewater conveyance, treatment design, and construction to join Stantec's Water Sector.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of design professionals and technicians, providing construction quality assurance services.
• Oversee water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with clients and leadership on project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Apply and share expertise in treatment, wastewater collection, and water system design.
• Lead preparation of engineering reports, design drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Research issues affecting water resources and projects.
• Ensure project requirements are met timely and effectively.
• Provide oversight, coordination, and problem-solving during construction for multiple projects.
• Participate in local professional organizations to promote the firm.

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and work well with diverse teams.
• Experience in project management, budgeting, proposal writing, and invoicing.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and relevant design software.
• Understanding of construction methods and technical expertise in water/wastewater design.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil/Environmental Engineering; Master's preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, with preference for Texas-based projects.

Work environment includes office and field work, with exposure to weather conditions.
