Job description

We are actively seeking a Senior Water & Wastewater Project Manager to join our team of talented professionals in Pittsburgh, PA. As a Water & Wastewater Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for:

  • Managing environmental water/wastewater projects
  • Preparing project designs and reports
  • Preparing and administering construction contracts
  • Managing financial resources and project profitability
  • Completing project permitting requirements
  • Client relationship management and development activities
  • Communicating with other HRG staff as needed to ensure projects are completed timely and on budget
  • Providing project review, QA/QC, and compliance to client specific requirements

Additional areas of responsibility may include:

  • Assisting with staff training
  • Providing recommendations to supervisor regarding staffing requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with environmental emphasis
  • Pennsylvania P.E. licensure
  • 10+ years' project experience involving:
  1. Design of water distribution and treatment systems
  2. Wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment systems and processes
  3. Hydraulics
  4. On lot systems
  5. Environmental assessments
  • Minimum 5-10 years project management experience
  1. Ability to provide timely project deliverables
  2. Develop and maintain excellent client satisfaction
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience with:
  1. Computer modeling of water systems
  2. Hydraulic design software
  3. PA DEP regulations
  • Holds a valid Driver's License to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices
  • Has the legal right to work in the U.S.

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint
  • Previous marketing experience
