Job summary

CDM Smith currently has a new opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with experience managing industrial water and/or wastewater projects to join our Industrial Business unit. The role is the main point of contact for planning and design of water, water reuse, and wastewater projects across the U.S. and is hybrid with a minimum of two days in the office.

You will lead project management efforts, provide technical guidance, mentor staff, and contribute to business development efforts nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 10 years of related experience.
• PMI/PMI-PMP, CCM or DBIA certification required (within 12 months of hire or promotion).
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Manager on water/wastewater projects.
• Provide technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentoring to engineering staff.
• Oversee scope, schedule, and budget development and monitoring for projects.
• Perform QA/QC of key deliverables and assist on projects managed by others.
• Assist Client Service Leaders with technical marketing for U.S. clients.
• Participate in relevant professional societies.
• Build and maintain relationships with key client decision makers.
