Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects within our Industrial Business unit. You will be the main point of contact for planning and design across the U.S., with a hybrid schedule requiring two days in the office.

You will provide technical guidance, mentor engineers, and manage scope, schedule and budgets. You’ll also assist with client services marketing and business development while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 10 years of related experience.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification within 12 months of hire.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Experience on water/wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Manager on water/wastewater projects.
• Provide technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentoring engineering staff.
• Responsible for scope, schedule, and budget development and adherence.
• QA/QC of key deliverables and assist on projects managed by others.
• Assist Client Service Leaders with technical marketing for clients across the U.S.
• Participate in professional societies and build relationships with client decision makers.
