Job summary

Andersen James Group is seeking a Senior Water & Wastewater Project Engineer to join our Texas water/wastewater team. The role involves leading design of treatment facilities, pump stations, and distribution systems, while managing projects and client communications.

You will evaluate existing infrastructure, prepare technical reports, and perform design calculations. A PE license is required or must be obtained in Texas within six months; travel to client sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil, Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6–8+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Active PE license in any U.S. state; ability to obtain Texas PE within 6 months of joining.

Responsibilities

• Design water and wastewater facilities including treatment facilities, pump stations, storage, transmission and distribution systems.
• Evaluate existing water/wastewater infrastructure and systems.
• Prepare reports, specifications, plans, schedules and permits; perform design calculations and quantity estimates.
• Serve as Project Manager on water/wastewater projects of varying sizes.
• Support construction administration activities and attend client meetings.
