Job summary

CPH is seeking a Project Engineer IV in Water/Wastewater for our Gainesville, FL market. A Florida licensed engineer with strong technical expertise in utility projects is preferred to lead complex water and wastewater assignments.

The ideal candidate has experience across environmental, water resources, stormwater and public utilities, and can communicate effectively with clients and internal teams. Travel may be required to support project delivery and business development.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering with a Florida P.E. license.
• 6+ years of relevant consulting engineering experience.
• Licensed Florida engineer with strong technical expertise in water/wastewater.
• Ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans including scope, budget, schedule and resources for water/wastewater projects.
• Lead design, permitting, and construction phases ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.
• Provide advanced engineering design in hydraulic modeling and treatment/storage systems.
• Oversee project teams, manage risk and ensure on-time delivery.
• Support business development and client relationship building.
