Job summary

CPH is seeking a Project Engineer IV for Water/Wastewater in Gainesville, FL. The role requires a Florida-licensed PE with strong technical expertise and leadership to deliver complex utility projects.

You will oversee design, permitting, and construction operations, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure quality and client satisfaction. Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering with a Florida PE license.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in a consulting engineering firm.
• Experience in water/wastewater, stormwater, and public utilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans with scope, budget, schedule, and resources for complex water/wastewater projects.
• Ensure timeline and budget adherence while meeting client objectives.
• Provide advanced engineering design in hydraulics, treatment and storage systems, and pumping systems.
• Lead development of solutions for transmission, distribution, and storage challenges.
• Manage all project lifecycle phases from feasibility to close-out.
