AECOM Water is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to support the Orange County Sanitation District’s Capital and Small Projects Program. This hybrid role reports to OC San’s Fountain Valley office 2-3 days per week, with remote work the rest of the time.

You will manage multiple municipal water/wastewater projects with a strong owner-side focus. The ideal candidate brings a civil engineering background, 6+ years of experience, and strong leadership in complex project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field with 6 years of water/wastewater experience

Responsabilités

• Support program-level delivery of municipal water and/or wastewater capital and small projects
• Independently manage one or more moderately complex projects from planning through closeout, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management
• Coordinate and oversee all phases of assigned projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and within scope
• Provide owner-side project management support, including project controls, scheduling, cost tracking, estimating, procurement coordination, and change management
• Direct and coordinate the efforts of AECOM technical staff, subconsultants, and other support resources
• Interface directly with OC San project managers, engineers, operations staff, and leadership
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; proactively resolve issues to minimize impacts to cost, schedule, and quality
• Review and provide quality control oversight of design calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables
• Prepare project-related documentation, including correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, schedules, and status updates
• Support coordination with contractors during construction, including RFIs, submittals, and issue resolution
