Job summary

Devine Management Consulting, LLC is seeking a process engineer to design, develop, test, and commission water and wastewater treatment systems, including MBR technologies. You will create PFDs and P&IDs, assist with pilot testing and performance validation, and collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams.

On-site visits and startup/commissioning experience are preferred, with opportunities to support technical sales and ongoing system optimization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of process engineering experience in water or wastewater systems.
• Hands-on experience with MBR and membrane filtration and fouling management.
• Experience with process design, equipment selection, and integrated treatment systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, testing, and analytical skills.
• Startup or commissioning experience strongly preferred.
• Preferred: RO, industrial wastewater reuse, modular system design.

Responsibilities

• Design integrated water treatment systems including biological treatment, membrane filtration, and pretreatment.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, mass balances, and equipment specifications.
• Conduct pilot testing, system commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance validation.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers on system development.
• Visit customer sites, assess treatment requirements, and support technical sales.
