Dewberry is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and execute water/wastewater modeling and master planning projects for public utility clients in Virginia. The role guides a team within Dewberry’s Mid Atlantic Water Group, coordinating with engineers, technicians, inspectors, and permitting specialists.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in the water/wastewater field, 5+ years in project management, and a Virginia P.E. license (reciprocity for other states within a year).

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering. Master’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the water/wastewater field.
• A minimum of 5 years of Project management experience.
• P.E. in Virginia required with reciprocity within one year for other states.

Aufgaben

• Manage water/wastewater modeling and master planning projects for public utility clients.
• Lead planning phase projects while coordinating with other disciplines, technicians and inspectors.
• Develop project scopes, budgets and schedules.
• Support business development and client management, including proposals and client interactions.
• Communicate project expectations to the team and client.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews of other projects.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior staff.
• Apply earned value management to monitor plans, schedules and budgets.
• Expand knowledge through seminars and professional associations.
