We are seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Estimator to join our team in Little Rock, AR. You will pursue and plan water and wastewater infrastructure projects, develop accurate, competitive estimates, and partner with operations from bid through handoff.

You will evaluate scope, constructability, risk, and cost, not just perform takeoffs, and work with self-performed concrete and heavy civil work. Strong reading of plans and cost analysis are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Experience estimating water/wastewater construction projects.
• Experience with self-performed structural concrete or heavy civil work.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing and productivity.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs and contracts.
• Proficient quantity takeoff, cost analysis and scope review.

Responsabilidades

• Develop estimates for water and wastewater facilities, pump stations, and piping.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and price self-performed labor, materials, and equipment.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Evaluate phasing, logistics, constructability and sequencing.
• Develop preliminary schedules to support estimating efforts.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving ideas.
• Participate in bid reviews with operations and project management.
• Prepare detailed budgets and lead handoffs to project teams.
• Support buyout and post-award procurement with the team.
• Partner with operations to set projects up for success.
