Job summary

This role blends project delivery, technical leadership, staff development, and ongoing improvement to advance our water and wastewater practice across offices. Located in any Interstate Engineering office, this position requires a PE license, 10+ years of water and wastewater experience, and proven ability to mentor
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 10+ years in water and wastewater engineering.
- Experience leading municipal infrastructure projects from planning through construction.
- Strong communication, mentoring, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop teams and drive technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, design, and construction support for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Serve as a technical resource for project teams across the region.
- Review plans, specifications, reports, calculations, and technical deliverables.
- Support project managers with scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
- Lead the Water & Wastewater Technical Group and facilitate collaboration across regions.
- Develop and maintain company standards, specifications, templates, and best practices.
- Mentor engineers, designers, and technicians.
- Coordinate training, conferences, certifications, and knowledge-sharing activities.
